Focus and background

Nikolett’s work centers on helping maritime companies shape and fine-tune their systems to match their business needs.

“It’s about understanding how they run their business and shaping the system to support their processes in a more efficient way.”

Before joining Ultimate Maritime Logistics, Nikolett worked in the shipping industry, specifically in the liner segment. During those years, she worked closely with AX2012 and Dynamics 365 and gained valuable insight into everyday maritime operations.

“It gave me a good foundation for what I do now – seeing how different parts of the business connect and how technology can support that.”

What makes the role exciting

What keeps her motivated is the variety in her work:

“Every project brings a new challenge. It’s exciting to see how companies operate differently and find ways to support that with tailored solutions.”

She also appreciates the opportunity to broaden her horizon.

“I’ve only seen a small part of the shipping world so far – in this role, I get to explore the industry from different angles and keep learning every day.”

And being part of the Ultimate team is a bonus, “It’s a very experienced and knowledgeable group – I learn something new from my colleagues all the time.”

Nikolett sees clear trends that are reshaping the maritime logistics industry:

“We’re seeing more companies moving toward automation and real-time data insights. Dynamics 365 plays a big part in replacing outdated tools and improving collaboration across departments like finance and operations.”

About Nikolett

Nikolett is originally from Hungary and moved to the Netherlands in late 2021. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, dancing and – most of all – road trips.

“The feeling of hitting the road, exploring new places, and just taking it all in – that’s the best.”
