At Ultimate Software, we believe that continuous improvement is key to success – both in our software and our team. That’s why we’re excited to introduce Josune, our new Quality Officer. With a curious mind and an eye for detail, she helps us keep quality at the heart of everything we do.
Focus and background
Josune’s role is centered around quality assurance – making sure that our systems, processes and outcomes meet the highest standards. She studied Audiovisual Communication and specialised in Community Management at university in Spain. After moving to the Netherlands, she stepped out of her comfort zone to take on different roles, including TWI trainer and stock manager. This diverse background gives her a unique and practical approach to her current work.
“What makes my job interesting is the constant challenge of learning new things. There are always improvements to be made and I’m excited to be the one driving them.”
A Great fit at Ultimate
Although Josune works remotely, Josune feels connected to the team. “I really like the close relationships I’ve built with some colleagues already. The international and multicultural environment of the company makes it feel welcoming and dynamic.”
Looking ahead
In 2023 and beyond, the maritime logistics industry continues to evolve – with digitalisation, automation and internationalisation as driving forces. Josune sees opportunities for Ultimate to expand its footprint, especially given her native Spanish language skills.
“Currently we focus on the Dutch and German markets, but who knows – maybe we’ll grow into Spanish-speaking markets in the future!”
About Josune
Josune is 35 years old and was born in Bilbao, Spain. She’s married and a proud mom of two young children. Outside work, she enjoys photography, nature walks and has a deep love for plants.
